Panel Mount Indicators

Panel mount indicators are visual devices installed on control panels or enclosures to display the status or condition of equipment. They provide clear, easily visible signals, such as lights or LEDs, to inform users about operational states or alarms within a system. Many panel mount indicators are LED indicators that have a long lifespan, low power consumption, and are highly durable.

How Panel Mount Indicators Work

Panel mount indicators turn on when electrical power is applied, usually in responce to a specific condition in a circuit. A voltage signal is sent to the indicator when a component is active or a threshold is reached. Common colors used are red, green, amber/yellow, and blue/white. Each of these is used for quick recognition with a standard meaning behind each color.
